Six startups to compete in Boston TechJam this month

Six local startups will compete for a slew of prizes including free workspace at the Boston TechJam event to be held on June 12.

The startups will kick off the event by pitching their business plans to a panel of high-profile local venture capitalists including James Geshwiler, managing director of CommonAngels, Chip Hazard, general partner of Flybridge Capital Partners, and Peter Boyce II, co-founder of Rough Draft Ventures.

The winner will receive a package of prizes including a session with SHIFT Communications to help with their messaging and elevator pitch, a free month of co-working space, $250 towards a General Assembly class and personal training with George Foreman III, according to a TechJam spokeswoman.
